Art Crawl Pop Up!

Good morning, friends! If you are on my mailing list, you will know that I decided to participate in an art crawl in central MN! The event is TOMORROW if you just so happen to not have plans yet! Originally, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to participate, but I found out VERY last minute that I got a spot!

If you aren’t from Minnesota or you aren’t familiar, Central MN holds an art crawl a few times a year in the historical neighborhood of downtown St. Cloud. Makers and artisans of all different sorts of crafts and trades get together to celebrate and sell their wares. I’ve never been to one of these before but am so excited to get my art out in front of new people and potential collectors!

The event is primarily held outdoors, through there are many local shops that will also be housing guest artists within their brick and mortar stores as well. There will be all sorts of food, drink, a fashion show, live music, poetry and readings, and of course tons of art.

The crawl will be located along W. Germain Street across 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Avenue from 5:00-9:00 pm. You will be able to find me on the corner of 7th Ave and W. Germain Street, right outside of Metro Bus and Mobility Training Center. This is my first time participating in an outdoor event such as this and with it being such short notice, I didn’t have much time to prepare such as outdoor equipment (a tent, displays, etc.). I’m not too worried about it though. I’m a creative and I will make it work.

I will also be doing my first ever live painting event here at the crawl! That is something that will be totally new to me as I’m still somewhat shy with people watching me paint in person. This is an exciting ending to my first year as a full-time artist and I’m breaking yet another barrier by painting live! That being said, I’ve got a lot of preparations to make today! I hope to see you guys there! See you soon!
